What Remindrop stores locally

Your reminder schedule, chosen voice, and a short list of recently shown phrases are saved to your device using iOS local storage (AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your phone and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

• Reminder time window and frequency
• Selected personality voice
• Recent phrase history (used to avoid repetition)

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of this data on external servers.

Notifications

How reminders are delivered

All reminders are scheduled locally on your device using iOS notification APIs. No notification content is sent to or processed by any server. Remindrop never uses push notifications — everything is generated and fired on-device.

Subscriptions

In-app purchases

Remindrop offers an optional premium subscription managed through the App Store. Purchases are processed by Apple and subscription status is checked via RevenueCat, our subscription management provider.

RevenueCat assigns an anonymous identifier to your device to track subscription entitlements. No personally identifiable information is shared with RevenueCat. You can restore purchases at any time without creating an account.

Crash reporting

Diagnostic data

If the app crashes, a report is sent to Sentry, our crash-reporting service. These reports include:

• Device type and iOS version
• App version number
• A technical stack trace showing where the crash occurred

Crash reports do not include your name, reminder content, notification text, or any other personal information. Crash reporting is only active in production builds — it is disabled during development.

• RevenueCat Subscription management

  Tracks your subscription status using an anonymous device identifier. No personal data is shared. RevenueCat Privacy Policy

• Sentry Crash reporting

  Receives crash reports with device and version details when the app encounters an error. Sentry Privacy Policy

Remindrop does not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or any tracking tools beyond what is listed above.

Children

Age requirements

Remindrop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

Updates to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, note the change in an app update. Continued use of Remindrop after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
